Niagara Falls is located in Ontario city, Canada. It is located on the western bank of the Niagara River in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario, We can do lot of things over there. We can see two famous bridges, one famous island, lot of parks and etc..
From the Niagara River, the water passes over the falls, before flowing around 23 km (14 miles) north into the final of the Great Lakes; Lake Ontario. From here there is yet another river, the St. Lawrence, and then it's final resting place in the form of the Atlantic Ocean. This has been given by the name of discoverer.

They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge. Niagara Falls was formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean.
